Swift descent bug？

I found swift descent jade, but even if i use it, i can‘t use it for some reason. Grind a bit for swift rise skill, and cant use descent also.
Anyone can give me a hint？
I play on Steamdeck

Push down and dash works for me on PC, I rarely use that!
Only reason I have it equipped is the dash cooldown!

Oh, so its no open for you any new ways to explore？I wonder this is something like down strike to break some glass or walls.

I switch my dash button to B instead of trigger, maybe that the case.

I have not found any place like that. The description is about avoid damage, mite be useful on small ledges where dashing to the side is not possible!

There are one or two places with glass floors that you break through other means, but never by hitting them yourself.

In fact, come to think, I don't think there are any hidden breakable walls or floors at all in the entire game. There are a few breakable walls you can destroy by attacking, but they're always clearly displayed out in the open.
