2. the only counter is to run away and parry knives. It requires a bit of training but it isnt so hard
Yeah. Check fast which it is and time your jump. It requires some training but after some time i was able to get bottle almost all of the time
For the black hole you literally just want to run away from it and keep jumping most of the danger in the fight comes from the knives and being in the air allows you to "all direction parry" no matter how many knives he throws at you. Also, don't look at the black hole look at everything else on screen, it never moves once he puts it there and it doesn't do anything else so use your energy paying attention to where the knives and energy rings are.
Well Yi does turn around 360 degrees when doing the Tai-chi Kick so I guess that's acceptible.
It is as simple as hold Shift, jump over knife going out, jump over knife coming back. And as someone else said, use you arrows to interrupt the attacks you don't like the most, like the blackhole if it causes you trouble. The arrows aren't for damage, outside of finishing an enemy off when they're on the other side of the screen. The arrows are most useful when canceling enemy actions or stun locking enemies by doing stuff like;
Arrow > 1-3 hits > Talisman > Arrow > 1-3 hits > Talisman > repeat until out of resources or enemy escapes.
