How to get Passing on the Torch achievement

I've given all the poisons to Shennong, but I'm not sure how to make him the leader of the village Did I miss a step somewhere?

Did you already go back to the village once and defended it ?

If so after giving him all poisons and resting he is gone and Shuanshuan tells you that he went back to the village since it is under attack again

I think it also requires giving Shuanshuan the Fangshi amulett since it is a minor plot point

yes the amulet is needed, because he survived with that at the attack

so the way is something like:
(always exhaust cutscenes in hub with resting and looking around)
- give amulet to shuan
- after village mainquest, villager are at the right side of old village, visit after some resting and you get first sidequest with the poisoned villager
- get the andidote for new village people
- then get all poison to shennong so he have nothing else to do ("im yi, i have a drinking problem" achievement)
- more cutscenes with him speaking about those villagers and stuff and villager liking him
- then hes gone and shuan says there is a attack and you need to defend new village against invaders (here you get the amulet back, which protected him and you can give it to shuan again)


and ps for true ending achievement "shooting star"
these stuff is required too on top of:
- get the bomb arrow thing and give it to kuafu (or whatever his name is)
- and i guess the relationship to shuan
- and then choose save apemens at hub before end

Yeah I went back to the village and defended it, and I got the achievements for giving Shennong all the poisons and deepening my relationship with Shuanshuan

The only thing I *might* be missing is the Fangshi amulet but I can't remember. Where is it located?

I don't remember where. But if you:
1) found all map robots and got their map chips
2) with detailed maps as reference, start combing all areas where you haven't found everything, eg some items are missing or there's a path you haven't gone to

Then you should be able to find it somehow. Doing (2) also contibutes to finding all the Jade equipment (achievement) and Treasure Hunter achievement (finding all stuff + character info).

I did some exploration, and the event triggered after completing the Tree as well! It turns out I already found the amulet hah
