Noble Ring - useful? Or just recycle?

I've got the Noble Ring, and I can recycle it for 2000 Jin. That's really tempting, but it also seems like some kind of unique item. Does anyone know if it has a use somewhere else, and I'll regret recycling it? Or is it just good for a large amount of Jin?

I don't think I did anything specific... just one time, I came back to the Four Winds Pavilion (is that the name? The home base), and he was standing next to the recycler with one of the other characters (I think it was the AI) talking about how he'd added a new blue print to the machine. Then when I checked the machine, I could make his coin.

How did you get his coin?

The event of ShuanShuan inventing the blueprint for the coin is probably tied to an object Yi has brought to him. Just try bringing ShuanShuan every item that tells you to do so in its description.

Thanks, i already got this coin. You need to bring one thing, that you can get in Tiangao centre. To the left of the big statue. You need to break the shelf.

Same, no consequences. And you get achievement for doing it.

Just to add onto this for anyone curious, you can also safely recycle those memory tags you get near the end of the game too. Anything recyclable is safe to do.

Actually no, there is at least one recyclable item that you can use story wise "Gene Eradicator"
