Softlock after meeting Yanlao, help?

I dont know if i missed something or needed a specific skill before this but I am at the part where you turn on the machine thing, then you meet Yanlao for the first time in the massive screen.

After that there's nothing interactable in the room and the way out is blocked by a red lazer above ground so I thought you have to jump then dash through, except you cant dash midair in this game????

Am i genuinely softlocked or am i missing something? Because it keeps restarting me in the room .-.

You should have learn air dash by that time. But I think you break a one-way door on the other side with glitch and skip the air dash ability.
Dev is already working on the fix. Meanwhile, you can use charge attack (work like a mini air dash) to get though the laser, and get back to the place where you break the one-way door and explore the map. Air dash should be around that area.

Yeah thank you, i went through a new save file already and found the air dash first. I didn't think about using the charge attack and just already deleted that first file. Thanks anyway.
