I’ve only played close to an hour so I’m expecting likely to run into some issues. I just haven’t experienced any pausing or audio issues as of now.
Well, I'm playing it through a TV in 1080p and put the graphics to high. I'm also using Proton GE. Not sure if any of that would effect it. I don't think it's a performance issue, it's running solidly at 60fps. It kind of reminds me of when games used to sometimes pause to load a sound effect off a disk. It only happens during combat and seems to sync up with when an attack or parry lands.
There's a similar effect in Hollow Knight when you get hit. Stuff pauses for a split second, then big impact sound. Plenty of other games have it too, though how noticeable it is varies.
Nah, it's 100% not a impact effect because the audio completely cuts out during it including music. I've also gotten into the next area and it seems to just happening when running around somtimes. I've tried disabling vsync and dropping the graphics too, neither helped. I guess I'll try verifying the files

Edit : fixed it by upping the audio quality settings in windows, no clue why it wasn't at the highest bitrate. Only nine sols thus gar was giving me trouble with that tho
