After reviewing some of the comments left by early access player, those who left long review are around 20~30 hours, 50 - 70 or over 100hrs.
So my guess is probably 20~30 hours..?

I have it in cart but I would also love to watch a review or two that are not 1 year old before I buy.

This, plus I want an accurate estimate on how long it takes to beat the game. I am not interested in 100% a game, since that is subjective. But a regular Joe playing the game and beating it.

You're not interested in beating a game ?
Why not ?

There are no accurate playtime estimates as it highly depends on the player's combat/parry skills, however, it is said that the playtime is indeed between 20~30 hours for average players.

Beating a game does not mean 100%ing it, almost nobody thinks that. If you get real credits, you beat the game. Completing a game generally does though, but people don't always agree on what 100% actually means and 100%ing can be tedious for a lot of games so it's not weird that most people don't do it.

I know people like to base their "enjoyment/worth" of a game on the length of the game. Just kind wish people didn't because now you are starting to get companies looking into that metric and will start basing their price on fun/hr which in their eyes longer means more $$.
Then you start getting fluff added just to increase the play/hr instead of actually adding in decent and quality content.

Game length is a good metric. Gamers will report if they had fun or not. What liked/disliked about the game. This lets potential customers know how the game will appeal to them and then value is assigned by how many hours of enjoyment. A $10 game that gives 10 hours of fun and enjoyment will be bought by most people. A $20 game that gives 10 hours of fun will still be bought by quite a few. But a $10/$20/etc game that gives 50 hours of frustration? Not many sales.

stop evaluating computer games like that, it doesn't make sense. By that logic none of them are worth it. You should just buy a pack of cards instead. It is more worth it than any computer game - endless number of games, endless replayability, single player, multiplayer, you can learn magic tricks with it, build houses of cards, do whatever the hell you want.

That is your opinion my friend.

When a game is selling for $30, I not only want quality and I also want quantity and replayability value.

I still hope this game is worth picking up as more reviews pour in.

only issue with this is that "fun" is subjective to each player and not at all means the same in the companies perspective. they see time=fun so they will consider a game with 40hrs of fetch quest as fun for the consumer and base the price on the time/hr metric when time/hr doesn't not always equate to "fun"/hr. think like them and you can see how they can use it to capitalize on the consumer. plus there been a few articles going around about game companies using that metric to base their games price/worth on. might be why we have been seeing so many games now that have long completion times most due to added fluff in order to artificially inflate the TTB (time to beat) metrics thus justifying a higher price tag.

we just gotta becareful about the perceptions we put forth and make sure that we show that we want quality over quantity but then again that can be capitalized upon as well. higher the quality the higher the price -> turns to be unsustainable -> corners get cut -> back to quantity over quality
xp guess we get the short end of the stick regardless
