French translation

Do you know if a French translation is planned please? if yes when?

I don't think so, if the game as translation it's gonna be spanish and russian i guess, we are not so many french on the market to make it worst

Salut, j'ai trouvé ce logiciel qui traduit (avec google traduction) automatiquement tout les jeux tournant sous Unity:

Les instructions sont assez simple, il faut télécharger "XUnity.AutoTranslator-ReiPatcher-5.3.0.zip" tu extrais "SetupReiPatcherAndAutoTranslator.exe" dans la racine du jeu (normalement C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Nine Sols\).

Tu lances "SetupReiPatcherAndAutoTranslator.exe" il va te créé un dossier "ReinPatcher" et un .exe sous le nom de NineSols (Patch and Run).

Lances "NineSols (Patch and Run)" une première fois et quitte le jeu. Cela va te créer un dossier "Auto Translator". Vas dans ce dossier et ouvre le fichier Config.ini avec un editeur de texte. Modifies la ligne suivant :

[General]
Language=en
FromLanguage=ja

en

[General]
Language=fr
FromLanguage=en

Il faut que ton jeu sois configuré par défaut en anglais, car il traduit de l'anglais au français. Sauvegarde et ferme le fichier et lance le jeu avec NineSols.exe

Le jeu ce traduira automatiquement sous tes yeux. Il est possible de retrouver les textes de traduction dans le dossier "Auto Translator/Translation/fr/Text" (tu peux d'ailleurs supprimer "Auto Translator/Translation/en"). A savoir que tout ce texte est ajouté au fur et a mesure ou le jeu ce traduit, c'est en quelque sorte de la mise en cache permanent.

Je pense travailler avec ce système pour proposer une traduction du jeu plus correcte.

Note that all this text is added as the game translates it, it is in a way permanent caching.

I plan to work with this system to offer a more correct translation of the game.

Comme rien est certain j'ai un peu avancé sur la traduction du jeu en français, voici les premiers résultat :

Il y a encore de nombreux manque car je dois apprendre à maitriser l'outil mais j'ai plutôt bien avancé en une demi journée avec plus de 850 ligne traduite.

Je reviens au nouvelle, je tiens à dire que j'apprécie de parcourir le jeu et de le traduire pour mieux comprendre ce qu'il a à proposer. Je suis navré que cela prenne un peu de temps, il y a beaucoup de dialogue et d’interprétation à corrigé afin d'avoir une bonne cohérence autant dans le lore et les éléments qui le compose.

Je suis actuellement à 1700 ligne traduite. J'avance relativement bien dans le jeu, je viens de battre Gouman

I had no idea there was such a tool that would auto translate games! Glad I clicked on this thread (I've been struggling to learn French for years and have been thinking about replaying some of my favourite games in the language as a way to at least get a little more practice)

With great pleasure! I also found this tool shortly after the game's release, although it's a Google translation. My translation correction should bring more coherence to the universe, but for that I need to finish the game 100%. I'm currently at 66% according to the Database, I've got almost all the skills and I'm probably missing 2 jades.

Sadly my French is only good enough to get the general gist of what is being said so a Google translation will be just about the same as any other translation for me...I didn't need the English translation to understand what was being said in this thread but that's the upper limit of my ability. Though I encourage you to continue with your translation because I think that's an awesome project!
