Can't find a 'save' ?
What is the difference between 'Continue' and 'Load' in the game?

The game autosaves between 'chapters', I can see that.
At exit it saves to last savepoint, but not to mid-level present point (like- I exited around halfway in the big park level - but when I restarted the game with 'continue', it started me off right at the start with the birds-nest and the key and I had to redo all the sneaking I had already done in the park.)

And I can't find any manual save anywhere.
So if I can't manually save, but jit ust autosaves at some occasional wherever-they-are savepoints, then what does 'Load' do ? Differently to 'Continue'?

Load - loads any old game of your available playthroughs.
Continue - continues your last saved game.

Some riddles, like the parks or the Grpoke chase have a saving protection. If you quit inside those scenes, you are brought back to the beginning of the park or the beginning/midpoint of the chase. On the normal landscape, you savepoint will be exactly where you left the game. Sometimes you will loose the animals, currently following you, like butterflies you are leading.

But caution: After crossing certain points, you are not able to come back:

a) After leaving the island, you can't return there. Moominpappa's boat won't bring you back.
b) After climbing the wall of the Park Keeper (endgame), you can't get back to Moominvalley.
