The way the Groke was treated in this game
I love it. It's the first time I'm seeing the Groke get a redemption aside from "Moominpappa at Sea". Other adaptations seem too much attached to the whole "scary evil Groke" narration. Which, you know, I get it, I grew up being scared of her like most of my generation, there's definitely some thrill in this. But I want the poor Groke to be happy. And I love this game for giving us just this.

Having an "evil" character is also a trick in movies and literature: An extremely lovely character (like Snorkmaiden or Luke Skywalker for example) is much more visible and brilliant in comparison to a scary or frightening character (like the Groke or Darth Vader).

And maybe, you've heared of a trick, the police plays: good cop and bad cop. One plays your enemy, the other your friend. In reality, they are working together and just play a role.

As a child, I was 10 years old, when I first read the books, I wasn't scared so much by the Groke. For me, she was just strange in a strange way.

I think, Tove Jansson, who invented the Moomin characters, was extremely tolerant and understanding. Therefore, there are no truly evil characters in her stories. They all remain somehow ambiguous. They all remain loveable despite of their "evil" traits. Even the Park Keeper in the game.

She deserves love and friendship <3
Yeah, that whole section of the game is my favourite part by far.
