Make the log cabin roof shoot-throughable
Hiding out in one of the log cabins at night with multiple enemies snoofing around outside is pretty spooky.

You can equip the soul arrows to give you light but then you'd have to switch to the normal arrows to do any damage, but in pitch black until you get the fire arrows anyway.

My gripe is not being able to shoot the soul arrows through the log cabin roof to get a view of the enemies surrounding the place. In the end I just waited out the night (boring).

It's pretty bright once the moon comes out so you shouldn't really need to use the spirit arrow for light for more than a couple minutes. Later on there's a way to see better at night without needing to switch to the fire/spirit arrow.

Which cabin were you in that you wanted to shoot the arrow out of? Was it the one that does have an open roof?

Sorry for the spirit/soul mixup, not sure where that came from.
I don't remember which cabin in it was, but it was pitch black for what felt like a long time, 8 minutes maybe, but I was on edge and maybe my monitor gamma is low.

The cabin itself had a mostly open roof that I think I'd recognize again, so I will go hunting. There was a log across the ceiling that split in into 2/3 and 1/3, the 2/3 was on the door side (left side as you enter the cabin) and I was trying to shoot out the 1/3 (right) side. Horrible explanation, let me find it again...

I can take a screenshot if I find but is their a way to show coordinates?

I know the cabin, I'll take a look at the collision in case those logs are blocking shots they shouldn't be

Thanks, glad you were able to understand which cabin I meant as I spent about 45 minutes looking for it but could not find it! I was paying attention to the dark night hours and there's no way it was 8 minutes, unless being in the cabin blocked out some of the lighter hours.

I know this is a minor thing, and you probably have bigger fish to fry but it was probably he first time I felt like I had a good reason to use the spirit arrows and felt cheated a bit. Best of luck with the launch, I'm enjoying the demo a lot.

Nah time passes the same regardless of what you're doing. I do stretch dawn/dusk a bit just for cool visuals, but the overall rate of time passage is the same. It doesn't pause if you're reading, in a safe zone, a location or anything like that.
