Generally the AI director is going to make it easier than it was before by making sure only so many creatures try to track you at once. If you run into a crowd though, it doesn't stop them from aggroing you.
I found a few places where you could fall down or otherwise get stuck, I noticed in the key bindings there is 'B' for debug locations, does that save coordinates that are useful for you?
Glad you liked those re-equip areas, I thought that would be an interesting change from the usual 100% safe restock of the portals.
That's good to know about stealth not working out totally for you though near the end. I have been thinking about some of people's suggestions and the possibility for other kinds of equipment. All TBD though.
Just thought I'd share my 2 cents on the matter of Stealth - I leveled it with priority and it is level 10 for me (maximum as far as I know). I'm playing on Normal difficulty and the game felt quite easy at times (I'm not complaining - I prefer it this way) - it's probably related to the buff to damage from Stealth that I read about. I literally 1 shot the bloody legendary skeleton thing near the top of the mountain with the necessary 1-2 combo with the 2 arrow types. I was also killing Legendary creatures in 2-3 shots (even those on the Mountain) with the metal arrow from Stealth.
Overall a great game that I thoroughly enjoyed playing, but I found the ending a bit ambiguous - no idea what it was supposed to mean or what the text in the achievement means...
Now, time to go back to the Crimson forest to try and find that legendary squid 🦑
>You might notice my hand looks a little weird now too, now that I've collected a few powers. I wonder if that's a good idea? Who knows...
I was already well into my play through by that point so I made a note but realized it was too late to start again. That said I never really learned enough from the in-game lore or the ending to understand why powers were bad. I only found about a third of the scrolls though.
