Is it really that bad?

I played the demo when it first came out and quite enjoyed it, I was asking questions with a developer who would frequently respond and the game seemed like it was in good hands.

Now im seeing people just crap on the game, is the hate warranted? Is it lazy development ? Or just people being knit picky

Your expectations shouldn't be too high. In my opinion the game is good for what it offers. The environments and characters look very detailed. The sound effects outside, for example the wind in the forest are very realistic. The fired gun gives a rich bang and the speakers are suitable. Even the story is okay. Execept a single bug, the character got stuck in the floor while pick up ammo out of a box i had no issue so far i've played. I could rescue him with a press on E. The only disturbing thing is the very heavy motion blur which can't be disabled so far. I hope for a patch. It's different from these first person walking simulators which flooded the steam market place. The next problem is the next hater of these title who arrives under my thread.

I've played the game for two hours so far, in these time i've noticed only one bug, nothing game breaking. I think it's no bigger problem for the development to improve the game. The question now is, after so many harsh negative reviews, if they are still in the mood to do it. What bothers me is the motion blur which can't be deactivated. I hate these feature.

I just finished the forest. Damn, the boss fight was.... less than stellar due.... many things, but specially aiming breaks so many times... picking ammo does not feel great as lenghty animations and the unreliable enemy, the rolling has no weight, boss and my self stuck.... I hope there are less combat later on. At the end I had more fun avoding monsters rahter than killing them.

Well look how quick this conversation went down the drain, kinda almost like how the game w-Uh oh no the game is 10/10. No seriously, the best part of the game still was both the demo and the first chapter, maybe most of the forest too. It still becomes a walking simulator with some ♥♥♥♥ to shoot along the way. Story is "okay" it becomes a mess, and jumps all over the place that could have given it more padding if anything. Don't get it confused, and don't act like your some justice warrior. The game was made by a rather small team. Yes no spit Jack, they get kudos for trying...for sure. Bugs as well(though usually I could care less about that stuff unless it is totally game breaking), yea sometimes rolling and getting ammo stashes has a "got stuck" moment if the timing is just "right" in attempt to grab some mid roll while. Had one bug in the 2nd forest "No-where" phase end game jumping the logs I rocketed into the air over them all, thankfully no fall damage so it was fine whatever. At that point though med kits was hard to find and you may die for first time. (Health will not recover at that point either) So that is what you will be in for, just wanting to get the game over with rush past anything you can and get a conclusion to the story. Oh but wait!!! YOU WONT! Because cliffhangers at the end~ That is not a spoiler it is just a fair warning to that regard...

This is a game which takes itself not serious. A funny horror shooter with a little bit exploring and solving brain melting (hi hi) puzzles. I'm out of the cemetery now, until this point it's funny entertaining. Isaw that the content of the gameplay is not very extensive in relation to the full price. I grabbed it for 22,50 €, it's a rather fair price. Let's hope that the development will throw out some nice updates to get the best out of the game content.

It needs Updates. The further you go the more issues the game gets. Character movement and facial animations remind me of Mr. Bean. They are all not game breaking, but the immersion suffers from them and the price is too expensive in relation of the technical state.

And inside the police office the finished tasks will sometimes not get updated at the upper line of the display or the sister suddenly is invisible, but speaks with you. I was running clueless to find a safe code. The same with the password for the computer. It's a disaster. Thank people who upload gameplay videos. I don't know how they figured it out. Why did they throw it out on the steam market so early ?

In what point? I´ve just got to another house. The visuals are really nice there. But framerate is... rough.

The "kill monsters" then fog will be clear is really annoying in the city. Shame, because I would love to wander freely more. Yep, combat is really bad. Hopefully the camera lag is removed, it makes shooting really bad. I think with that change will make it more enjoyable, or at least tolerable!
