Tuna fishing

Has anyone actually got the big Tuna? I have about 100 golden tunafish but never got the huge one.

Yes, you have to exit the fishing mini game and start it again if your first tuna catch is not the big one.

Using the highest level bait also helps. You'll need it to catch the marlin. That was the most elusive one for me. It spawns way out to at the edge to the right of the east coast fishing area when you are using the top quality bait.

I finally managed. I't pretty simple to catch a big tuna, IF you kow where to find it and what to use.
1. Top quality bait
2. Check if the first tuna, which you catch is on golden level, if it is silver, a big tuna won't appear.
3. NORMAL tuna swim back an forth in the second line (just over the white shark) on the upper part of the screen
4. BIG tuna swim in circles on the lower left side of the screen
After I figured this out, it took me just 7 fishing sessions to catch the big tuna.

To catch a marlin: Without top grade bait it does not appear in every fishing session. with top grade bait it swims in the first row on the upper part of the screen
1. row: Marlin
2. row: Normal tuna (smaler size than shark)
3. row: white shart (biggest fish)

It took some time to figure out the pattern behind the location where the fish appear. I am still not sure, if it is just random or if there is a pattern which fish appear when you don't use bait.

this is just not true. Bait will change the type of tuna you can catch. If you catch a tuna and its a small guy, throw some bait and the size pool will change (provided there is a tuna in the new fish group)

I caught a bluefin tuna, is that considered big? was huge when hooked up, got it at east coast with special baits

There is a special kind of bluefin tuna. You need to catch it, to get "Bluefin Boss" for 100% in "another life".
