So far, i think building up heat needs to be faster
Compared to Y0 and 5, its closest other games mechanically at the time of the original release, the way heat builds up in this game is so. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. slow. Granted, I don't have all the upgrades yet, and I could just spam heat recovery items, but it just seems like a weird choice.

Y0 and Y5 you both lost heat if you either didn't keep doing combos (in the case of 0) or took damage (in 5). You basically dont lose any heat in Ishin for any reason other than heat actions or charged sword finishers. This is also completely ignoring that you can do a heat build with seals and weapons/armour choices, let alone things like that one trooper card that will instantly give you like 7 heat levels, or the ones that will charge up 3 heat levels over time. Increasing the base heat generation rate any further would just be too powerful due to the knock on effects with said troopers and builds.

Doesn't seem all that bad. I have a instant heat restorer card on the trooper cards so my heat gets maxed out most times but even without it, it's really not that long.
