Deluxe edition DLC

I bought the deluxe edition and get every other dlc im supposed to but am completely missing the sword and cannon set. Searching on google or these discussions hasn't given me an answer of how to actually get it to work.

Weirdly the game gives me the ishin difficulty so it acknowledges i have the deluxe but i still cant get the extra items paid for. Already tried verifying the files and all that to no good at all.

Yeah, i have access to everything except the
Kijinmaru Kunishige, a dark sword with a white hilt
Tsuyano Usukurenai, a sword soaked in blood
Black Ship Cannon, a cannon taken from Western ships

which is listed under the store page for the deluxe edition as items supposedly attainable. Its super weird because i unlocked the ishin difficulty and everything else that came with...Just cant get those specific weapons

Try verifying integrity files, its a common bug that players had during the time the game came out early. As a last resort you may have to uninstall then reinstall the game to have them appear.

Yeah I said in the first post I tried verifying it, also have reinstalled and its still not showing up. It doesnt even show up in the list of dlc's as the sword & cannon set or whatever. Is there any way to fix this other than reinstalling or verifying the files? As I have done both

Are those not the pre-order bonus? I think they only came from pre-ordering the deluxe edition.

Yeah, they are. "Japanese swords & cannon set (pre order)" in the DLC list.

If you read the deluxe edition store page it lists them as being part of it. Here i will copy and paste what it says

Yeah, but that is likely just SEGA being a bit lazy to be honest and not having changed it. If you look at the PS4/PS5 digital deluxe, for example, it says this:

It is just a mistake that nobody has double checked to remove.

It doesn't matter if they forgot to remove it. I bought the deluxe version of the game with the impression that I'd be getting that content because it was there after release. That's on them, not me. I shouldn't have to go to an entirely different storefront to double and triple check the description to see if they line up.

This has been fixed in the patch that just dropped.

BTW you can't use the Black Ship Cannon anyway until you've learning the corresponding skill to equip it.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it wasn't fixed, at least not for me. Tried verifying files and reinstalling since patch dropped, still not able to access those specific weapons from the clown guy.

This isn't something a patch will fix. Those 3 weapons are pre-order bonuses. The store page description is a mistake from the early-access page.

Probably because they simply haven't noticed the mistake? There used to be a line above that separating it from the deluxe edition about the early access for pre-order deluxes, and it is most likely just some underpaid intern missed the memo about removing everything from that point down. Is it problematic? Sure. But it is probably a mistake and was not planned to be done to trick people into buying the deluxe. Report it as an issue on the store page, and it will likely be fixed faster. Complaining here will not suddenly gain you access to it though.

This is false advertising, mistake or not. It's STILL on there. Being lazy doesn't excuse misleading your customers.

I'm pi--ed about this also, but for a totally different reason: I knew there would be a preorder bonus, and specifically bought the game the day before the official release date. The problem with this strategy was that the official release date, listed everywhere on the internet, was one day after Steam's release date. So even though I paid full price and did so before the official release date, I was cheated out of the preorder items.

This particularly galls because it turns out that the unique sword is in fact the most powerful in the game, specifically because it gives the player the most slots to work with out of all possible swords.

At this point I would be very okay with some means of hacking the sword into my inventory. Honestly I'm surprised nobody's arranged that particular tweak yet.
