There was a fix made for ultrawide that also adjusted a few other things: https://github.com/Lyall/IshinFix
I found the files in this path in my game folder: C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\LikeADragonIshin\LikeaDragonIshin\Binaries\Win64
There were several files related to "Ishin Fix" which I deleted. Then, I verified the integrity of files again. However, I unfortunately am still having crash immediately on startup, so Idk what's causing this for me at this point.
I've tried removing all mods, clean install, verify integrity, update driver, restart computer.
Just for science, I reinstalled LAD Ishin on my Steam Deck and it launched there and I was able to load a save. Now I'm very confused as to what the difference is, since I've done clean install on PC and both versions are up-to-date.
Update, but I finally got it to launch and play. I went back into the folder where the "Ishin Fix" mod files were, which is in "Binaries" and then "Win64". I deleted all of its contents, then re-verified integrity so it restored only the original missing files.
This finally got it to get passed the black screen and properly launch for me. Other than that, I also still have "-dx11" in my launch settings and Steam/Nvidia overlay disabled.
