Hello! I played Yakuza 0 only
What's the game about? Buying houses and operating a geisha tea house?

I just want to avoid spoilers about the plot, so I am just asking if it will be like Yakuza 0, making me do some mini game as part of the main story or not.

Do you really think tehe store page is gonna spoil the game for you?

Yes, it is a Yakuza game after all. Its like every other Yakuza game, but in Edo times.

Doomulus talked about Youtube videos, and they aren't spoiler free, most of the time.

Like a Dragon: Ishin is one of the two ancient history centered games in the series. This one takes place during the 1860s in Edo, Japan(now known as Tokyo). The characters' appearances are based on other characters in the franchise, moreso as virtual actors in a way. Ryoma looks like Kiryu, and does act like Kiryu in some ways, but he *isn't* Kiryu. The story is loosely based on the Great Restoration period of Japanese history. As such, you can play this game at any point during your series playthrough. Playing it after Yakuza 0 would probably be beneficial because it plays nearly exactly like Yakuza 0, combat-wise. Instead of having different hand-to-hand fighting styles, your four styles are as followed: Brawler (typical hand to hand combat, not super powerful but has some useful abilities), Swordsman (you do play as a samurai, so this one is a no-brainer), Gunman (like it says on the tin, this one is focused on ranged combat with a firearm), and lastly Wild Dancer (this combines both swordsman and gunman for some really fun and impressive looking combat where you have a sword in one hand and a gun in the other, very cool).

I'm not gonna go into the story, since you said you were trying to avoid spoilers, but I do highly recommend this one. The story is structured like a typical Yakuza game, which you should be somewhat familiar with. If you're not familiar with Japanese history (why would you be, it's not exactly a subject covered in schools), the game has a glossary prompt that comes up when certain terms are said in dialogue. By hitting the button for it, it'll give you a definition of the term used so you can better understand what's going on.

Hope this answers your questions.
