Ishin or Lost Judgment

Both are in discount. I like the samurai theme, but gameplay-wise which one you recommend?

Overall game (activities, story, content, mini games) I would go Judgment/ Lost Judgment. If combat is what your after Ishin all the way.

Gameplay wise Lost Judgment is the best game RGG has released so far.

Ishin if you like realistic combat (swordsman style at least, gunman- not so much but it's optional). Judgment if you like punches with multi colored explosions and floating in mid air.
Imho the characters and story in Ishin are way better too. Ishin all the way!

Overall Lost Judgement is a better game.
Ishin is good but one thing I dislike a lot how grindy they made the best weapons to get.
Its not a hard grind just incredibly monotone and long.

Lost Judgment is better in every way.

i was dissapointed in Ishin, story is ok, but substories and friendships are boring, and out of 4 combat styles only 2 are fun.

I found Ishin to be a whole lot better than I was thinking. I put this game off for the longest time, it just didn't look like something I would be into. Not like a typical Yakuza game. But I really liked this game. Story was really good, side stories and friendships were OK, just simply ok... decent. But the combat, weapons, dungeons, arena, and Scarecrow room were a blast. I loved all 4 combat styles once you crafted all the best stuff and upgraded Brawler. A whole lot of fun switching around between the 4.

Once I finished it and got as close as I wanted to 100%, I did another playthrough on Ishin difficulty, Story only. The story was a lot better the 2nd time through. Real fun game

I love both games but Judgement made me feel a lot of times, especially lost judgement made me cry like a baby a lot of times.
