Honey?
One of the last recipes I need to cook is Shrewd Castella which requires 3 honey. I haven't come across any honey in 40+ hours. Anyone know where to get any?

Also, I've looked online the past 2 days and just find recipe lists and guides for the game so the internet has not been helpful.

I bought some in a shop, but i can't remember which one :/ (i think i did, feels kinda blurry now in the morning 04:49)

I've checked all the shops but no luck. Don't know if it shows up later or not. I've played 40+ hours but still on Chapter 7 cause I've been doing mostly side quests and 2nd life.

Just saw you have to build friendship up at Don Quiote and they sell honey. Guess I'll have to buy a bunch of items to unlock it. Thankfully honey isn't this hard to get in the real world, at least where I live.

I only visited once or twice and it was in stock. It's way at the bottom of the stock list.

Might be some other trigger then? I've unlocked all of the Another Life upgrades. There really wasn't anything else I needed in that shop, so I've only stopped by once or twice. My bond is still low.

It showed up after I raised the store level so all I have left now is to find the last recipe.

That comes from a substory in Gion. You'll need to complete the bond with a chef in the north part of that area near the palanquin.
