Help, not getting any style XP anymore

Just what the title says, no matter how many enemies I defeat in a certain style I don't get any XP. Even eating the colored rice balls does nothing.

Level 25 in the style?

Or having completed the level-specific limit break and reached level 50 in it, but not yet reached level 99 and done another limit break fight?

No, I already did the limit break that resets the Ryoma's level to 1. All styles but Wild Dancer are level 50, but Wild Dancer is stuck at level 49. At first I thought it might just be a visual bug that doesn't change the progression bar, but I defeated over 200 enemies since then and even tried leveling by eating 20 of the green Daifuku but nothing changes.

I haven't had this issue yet but I remember seeing a different post about someone getting stuck in their training level and the solution was to eat a bunch of the exp items from the Shinto Priest to basically force the last level.
