Wild Dancer ability Dance of Mourning. Cannot unlock?

no matter what I do, I cannot unlock this skill. I am always evading near swordsmen

Figured it out. See below spoiler.

found by obtaining Book of Revelations: Evasion — Complete Scarecrow Chateau Hell Room 10 to obtain this book. Do what the book says until you get the Heat action prompt

every guide was making it seem like you keep spamming the move and you'll see a heat action which is not true. You do the move enough and then the heat action unlocks. So Brawler's second revelation requires you attack after you parry but the heat action associated with it requires you lock onto an opponent far away (hold RB) and then you get the prompt. I think it should work if you don't have any heat too so you can narrow it down. So not only do you have to read the revelation book, you have to read what the heat action is that you want to unlock.

I see you figured it out but in case anyone else is having trouble with it, you need to successfully evade an attack which usually will say something in the top right corner of your screen if you do successfully evade. just spinning next to someone isn't going to work
