Troopers morale
Anyone knows how to increase it? The game says eating and resting, but neither increased it. Do i have to eat or rest at some specific place?

I’ve tried everything as well, it might just be glitched for now :/

Same here. Eating at restaurants isn't refilling the morale bar (the blue bar over the charge bar).

Is this still bugged?

For me no problem with eating at restaurants, homemade or bought food. The morale bar fills up as it should (For once i don't bugs i normaly have, when the rest of the world doesn't, almost feels not "normal")

After finishing the game, i can safely say, not bugged, but fills barely and seems to be based on how much you spend on food

Spent some time trying to figure this out myself. No idea. The blue bars on all my troopers are zeroed out. Eating anywhere doesn't seem to refill them at all nor is there any specific option to 'treat the troops to a meal' from the Receptionist.

in Rakunai right before the bridge to Gion there's a restaurant called Shippoku Momokawa. If you eat a meal there it'll restore all of your troopers morale to full. It's pretty pricey tho 1-2 ryo for each dish, it's the most effective way I've found to keep morale high.

Thanks a lot, this helped me with the morale problem
if you're doing the dungeons then go out of the shinsengumi camp to the Palaquan and choose 'Rakunai', when you get there just east a few steps is Sushi Zanmai and it costs about 1.5 ryo and it will fill your gauges all the way up. However, the only reason (that I can see) to track your morale is if you're in danger of losing in a dungeon. if you're doing them end game, you don't have to worry about it unless you lose accidentally. I just grinded the last boss of the dungeon 45 times before it dropped Provincial Dojo Certificate which I just learned you can get in a trade at the gun training place. anyways, never once throughout that time did I refill the morale just to see if there was any effects.
