You trolls need to try harder
From playing the demo, I completely disagree. The graphics are not as good, and on top of that, there is no ultrawide support. It's a step backwards for the series for sure.
Developers always trying to have the best graphics possible is why games often run poorly.
Even if it looked like Yakuza 3, I'd be happy. As long as it's actually fun, that's all I give a ♥♥♥♥ about.
the cutscenes were pre-rendered in the original game, so I'm guessing it's the same here? Probably be the main reason it's capped at 30fps
They didn't do a good job at marketing, making it sound like it was a brand new game when it isn't. It's obviously not going to look as nice as recent yakuza games
No I am not wrong. I am the most meticulous guy in the world with graphics and that aint true.
This game has the same level of graphics as Judgment or Yakuza 7.
If you cant see that then you must buy some glasses or something.
I will give you your clown points that you deserve for doing this thread no worries my friend
I have my doubts that it's only a few tweaks from the old version because certain things feel immediately better to me about the combat systems in place than 0.
Style progression is linked to active use of that style and level ups rather than grinding money. Heat Gauge no longer locks you out of parts of your kit depending on what level it's at (as in basic things like different parries).
Each stance so far seems to have more niche uses with more nuance as well since the game has more enemy archetypes to throw at your beyond mook, mook with gun, and big mook. Enemy telegraphing and general attack patterns seemed to be immediately more impactful on how you play.
It would feel strange to have all of this QoL in a game from so long ago, but not in the newer titles.
Also no AA or AF options for some reason...
Oh so you're saying that this is just an HD remaster of a PS3 game and not a remake on a new engine that they had to manually do from the ground up on account of it being a new engine.
Listen to yourself man.
At the very least they could have added some QOL features instead of splurging all of the budget on recasts.
