Dead Man's Hand Tutorial

I've been stuck in this tutorial for half an hour.
the instructions are just "tilt L stick back and hit shoot" okay. that makes me run. or turn and shoot.
I got 2/3 and then it stopped working. this is really annoying.
i'm facing away, i click the stick towards them fast and hit shoot and i just run at them and jump and shoot
i click the stick slow and shoot and i turn and shoot and it does not count, somehow, for "turn and shoot them, this is a trick shot somehow"

the instant i complained it got 3/3 i literally do not understand what this trick wants from me

It was a bit finicky for me as well, glad you managed to get it.

If that's mislabeled in the game I never noticed but that's not Dead Man's hand it's a move called Scapegrace Shot. It's mostly useful for rapid fire builds.

Deadman's Hand let's you shoot weapons out of enemies hands just by crossing a certain damage threshold while holding RB. This is incredibly powerful because it lets you skip straight to B variants for certain weapon trees (hint: if it glows try to get it).

Dead Man’s Hand
For this lesson, you'll learn two skills: Dead Man’s Hand and the special ability Scapegrace Shot. The latter doesn't need a soul orb to be activated since it's not part of the Abilities Wheel. First, you have to learn Scapegrace Shot.

no idea if this is how you block out things in steam but wow you're right. i made a mistake. i just googled the instructions "tilt l and press x" and "doesn't work can't leave" and didn't get very far but i did get this guide printed out by an AI that said what the name of the other move was as the chapter heading. sorry
