Also, many crops will not be listed as unlockable until you get the upgrades. Which can leave you wondering "Wait, where the ♥♥♥♥ IS Ginseng anyways?" a fact a quick googling at assorted clcikbaits and completion lists do not cover.
Cucumbers are melons. Why is this odd claim relevant? Because one of the crops orders (The only type I have been bothering with so far as you can do it all from the farm) asks for "two kinds of melons". The other demand is (green) pumpkins.
Those slow growing Taro also count as one of the needs for "three kinds of potato"
