But they are janky, and in many ways that's part of their charm. people wanting something more refined and modern might not like them

Gotta agree that the last thing I'm concerned about in a Yakuza game is the combat. It's nice if it does well, but it won't make or break my decision to buy it. Japanese immersion, story, and characters are what we are here for.

the kamurocho bit I totally get, having played all of the localized rgg games I'm sick and tired of kamurocho, but the "copy and paste lazy mentality" bit is just stupid, do people realize that recycling assets its a healthy game development habit that should be normalized? reusing assets brings the production cost and time it takes to make a game by a LOT, and it makes it easier for us consumers to wait less and not pay absurd amounts of money for a game like for example FF7R

FOR ME THE SHREDDER the best ninja in the galaxy it will be much better because i kill all of my enemies very brutally and i have decades of experience fighting and killing enemies with nijitsu and ninja weapons. I will also upload some gameplay so evryoen can see how a true ninja master like me brutally kills the enemies. I recomend you to watch them then when it releases!
