Solarpunk

Solarpunk

What makes this game stand out?
The bar is set very high. Countless other survival games, even countless more mods in Minecraft to satisfy every players' itch.

Once you reach a peak in a certain game, it becomes boring and players quit. A chill anything game could have a very short shelf-life, simply because the dangers of loss, threat to health/hunger, death, or damage to what you've built isn't there.

The setting around the genre "Solarpunk" and the resulting feature is probably the biggest USP.

We are still quite early in development and many "ideas" depend a bit on the Kickstarter and thus how long the devs can work on them.

I think we will reveal some cool stuff in the future.

Gotcha. First-person survival and crafting is my mainstay, so I'm keeping track. :D
Tbh the moment I stop chilling is when I stop playing. I'd rather play a new game than the same old game again... God, if I had a gun to my head and someone asked me to play more Minecraft, would I?... Anywho, I'd rather try a new game like this. Sounds like a cool idea with the solar and energy based stuff.

I found the game title to be quite misleading. Right now, the trailer covers 50% absolutely generic farming sim content, 49% building content (that part looks kinda promising regarding depth and details) and maybe 1% content I'd somehow coin as "solar".
So what exactly is that "solar" part about - apart from having solar panels in the game?

Solarpunk implies relying on nature, such as the sun or wind technology to further yourself. There seems to be an emphasis on flying airships which is very traditional to the steampunk genre. This game is twisting it away from industrial to green.

For me Solarpunk implies solar gadgets and Steampunk technology, (like airships.)
