We’re back with a quick but exciting update!

🌟 Over 100,000 Demo Downloads!

Our demo made it into the Top 5 most downloaded games during the Steam Next Fest! As just two developers, this means the world to us. Competing alongside big studios wouldn't have been possible without YOUR incredible support.

🛠️ What We've Been Working On

Development has been full steam ahead, with many new features and improvements:

- A reworked airship system, including weather challenges and upgrade paths
- Storm mechanics that damage crops unless protected, this makes greenhouses now essential!
- New tradebot system, UI improvements, and more meaningful crafting/trading
- An improved tutorial and more intuitive starting area
- Tons of gameplay balancing, quest design, and bug fixes to polish the experience

We're testing a lot of internal changes to make Solarpunk feel smoother and more fun.
So far, it's working great!

At the end we would like to point out that we will do our best to keep you up to date with regular updates on Kickstarter. But since it’s just the two of us, we’re putting all our time and energy into developing the game. We promise: every quiet moment is a busy one behind the scenes.

Flying Horrible

I really like this game but the fly i could have used some tutorial in the ship i found it hard to figure out which way i was going especially up and down trying to dock,finding my home , turning the camera made me even more confused on where i was at. Maybe you could have add a descend button because i had to keep driving in a circle to locate my home. i ended up crashing running out of water on the ship so i jump out and retrieve it i guess damaged....

please remove item durability

Hello Ok first of all, this is a very nice and fun looking game that i'm most likely going to buy and enjoy. I'm a long time fan of building-survival and God knows i've always been partial to anything that has airships. this said... can you just remove tool durability entirely? Clearly there will be no shortage of materials, assuming that most if not all islands will have a respawn of sticks and stones, and that iron veins can last forever once you've placed an automated miner. So item durability at the ...

Seriously, fire the designers and playtesters

Just a sampling of what's in the demo: I'm at a pond of fresh water but I can't drink. I can cut down a tree but I can't get Sticks, only planks that won't let me make tools. Brown rocks give sand, no stone. Have to find green rocks to get stone or scavenge around for more stone. Durability of basic tools goes down ludicrously fast. Your tools literally "tap" the node and then it falls over. Dying of hunger because I can't scavenge enough raspberries. I don't care if devs go to a formal game-dev school b...
