In the options for controls there is a checkbox you have to have ticked.

that does nothing when I press any button as deathspank nothing happens anyway thats not what im looking for I want xbox 360 controller to work so second co op partner can join in with controller I used to play deathspank with my mother now I cant anymore

Controller doesn't work for me either and I have checked, unchecked, and re-checked the "use controller mode" button several times.

do you make sure your controller is plugged in before you boot up the game?

yes green light is on the controller and it works in other games like mortal kombat

I just tested the game using my Xbox One controller (connected via Bluetooth) and it works 100% perfect. I don't see why a 360 controller wouldn't work especially since that is the generation that this game released on.

as the title says it stopped working it worked in the past and in other games its still working im playing all mortal kombat versions with it and castlevania lords of shadow maybe something happend to it and its somehow not compatible with deathspank anymore I was also thinking of getting an xbox one controller as a last resort

Just downloaded the game today and my controller isn't working either. The checkbox in the controller settings is grayed out. Has anyone been able to resolve the controller issues?
