DeathSpank not responding on launch Win 10 FIX!

For anyone having trouble getting DS to launch, try right clicking on the executable and go to properties. Go to the compatibility tab and check "Disable fullscreen optimizations".
The game would not start for me and I tried all the 'fixes' people recommended including running the game in windows 7 compatibility mode. Nothing worked until I disabled the fullscreen optimization.

I knew this info but I think this should be a guide

also please note 80% of old games used SINGLE or DUAL core
make a bat file to run any game exe by set affinity cpu core 0 = 0 aka uncheck it
this will help tons.
the game tries to use the only core the os is.
and no others.
