Deciding what to take into a mission
Though I'm not interested in leaving a review at this point, I did want to offer some feedback. I typically love this type of game, and I'm waiting with bated breath for Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew later this year.

I played this game with a lot of enthusiasm for a while, but I'm having trouble bringing myself to finish it. I got most of the way through the Black Eagle Prison level before deciding that I'd had enough.

When I'm deciding what tools to bring into a level, I have very little idea of what type of locks and barriers exist there. Inevitably, I'll run out of uses in a vital tool (Black Eagle prison seems to require a TON of wire cutters), and then I'll just wander around for a while trying to find another copy of the tool in loot somewhere. Even with the perk that increases the chances of finding another tool, I rarely find anything useful. At this point with Black Eagle Prison, I feel that I have to either set off an alarm that feels avoidable and scramble around, or just restart the level with the knowledge that I now have of the level's layout and bring more of the necessary tool.

This has happened in other levels (and was irritating there as well), although it didn't bother me so much that I didn't finish the map. At this point, I'm just tired of it. I'm not sure that the tools having a certain number of uses is a mechanic that adds anything to the game for me.

However, I want express appreciation for what you did create, as there are far too few real-time stealth tactics games out there.

Thanks for the feedback! We are preparing a major update and I will try to check the balance between the number of tools and locks (alarm switchers).
Can you tell me a rough schedule of the major update?

4-5 days left before the update.
for tool i suggest you bring all types of tool each if you like to prepare what comes on the mission you're playing, but for me, i sometimes bring hardened crowbar x2(there tool superior to crowbar but i forgot what the tool's name is), lockpick x1, wire cutter or solder bar x1, and hand drill or electric drill x1.

please keep in mind that some of the area doesn't require you to explore or if you really want to explore them all, there are some tools like around the mission you're in. i sometimes miss this tool because i forgot about them or it's hard to reach.

sorry, i'm still at the chapter 2 of the game (around the fortune teller's house and school mission) and the equipment i chose seems sufficient for me for now. can you give me a better choice of equipment then?

If memory serves, you'll want at least 3 wire cutters in Black Eagle Prison.
hmm, how about solder iron? it function as the same as wire cutter and it can be used more before it breaks completely

I counted all the alarm switches in the prison - there are less than 10 of them. 1 soldering iron should be enough.
The informant guy out back of the tool shop is also good. He doesn't cost much and will give you a detailed idea of what to expect in each area.
