is it better to have the cheese cellar or 5 cheese mages?

I ask because while both are basically the same, the cheese cellar has unlimited duration but I'm not sure if 5 cheese mages have that same effect, is it possible to lose a huge combo of cheese power?

Cheese Mages, alongside the Cheese Madness spell, give the same effect as the Cheese Cellar, the only difference being that the madness is time sensitive, like most every other Blessing. You can keep it going indefinitely with Chocolate in soup.
So, really, it just comes down to whether you have something more important to grab other than Cheese Cellar. There are other factors, of course, but that, I think, would be the primary one.

As a side note, I am on a run using Cheese Mages and my combo is at ~49m% on the Cheese Strike Blessing. It's been accumulating for a handful of months now.
