Can anyone explain how the rank system works? I most of the time get rank Buffoon. I have forgotten how to intentionally get the other ranks. When I do get the other ranks the rewards are ridiculously better.

rank increases every 100 zones starting with zone 175 (275, 375, etc)

A dev has informed me of this as well. Thank you. The dev says they are changing the display of this as well as lowering the stage requirements.
