for enhanced weapons, you only need a few heroes to attack anyway, so the extra damage is helpful for me. like you'd only need one cultist, or one beast for most of the damage, then you spend the rest on building a small team, and flowers. This is what I do at least, I have all of the modes enabled when i play except maybe the double monster one, cause I have the beasts with the bow, and i like the x1000 damage when only one monster is there, making it easier to take down bosses. hope this helped lol
I keep enhanced weapons on, pretty much all the time. But I have a high enough gold gain that, even with using all the ambrosia, I can keep a full party, if I so desire, up until around zone 130. Anyways, I think the extra damage is highly useful, and I typically never go for a full party; enough people to raid the caravan, some buff units, some debuff units, and one or two attackers.
