Please Help Major Glitch Stops Game Play Cold

Main Character reaches a point in the game when they cannot move. They can turn to the left or to the right but they cannot move in any direction.

So,I exit game and go back to playing and character can move for a little bit and then they go upstairs to a different section of the house and again they cease being able to move in any direction. I believe this is a glitch that needs to be reported.

but mister boakes does visit here on occasion. I would reckon this issue makes for a rather high priority. This is based on the fact that the entire game becomes non-operational.

I understand that JB does frequent the message board here, but considering the issue you are having I thought perhaps you'd get a faster response reaching out to him directly.

I appreciate the thanks, but honestly you are certainly the one who is best equipped to explain to him what exactly is happening. I'm sure he would most likely want a copy of a saved game where the issue happened so he could examine the code etc.
I have done this with other developers and most are happy to help, and grateful to see exactly where things have broken down for players.
I'm truly sorry for the issues you're experiencing, as I said, I've done this myself with other games/developers. It's frustrating, but I always think about the fact that in the end, my issues are helping developers understand better the weak points in a game, and perhaps in a small way help make future games better.

I have played the game three times without glitches but hope you find a solution

I am having the exact same issue that has been mentioned above. It started when I went to the upstairs bedrooms. Instead of the arrow , I just have a white dot. I have gone back to earlier saves and moved on to the next morning but after a few minutes the white dot in place of the arrow comes up. I can access the inventory but I can not move. I hope they will look into this as I am not able to proceed in the game.

My issue was never resolved. I did finish the game. The only way that that could be accomplished was this:

I had to constantly be one step ahead of the glitches.

My entire game I was not able to do the deductions and enjoy the accomplishments.

Instead, I had to consistently accept the two answer deductions rather than what I wanted which was to answer three deductions.

Had I went ahead and chose the three deductions I would have spent numerous hours simply watching the game crash over and over and over.

That,I grew very tired of extremely quickly.

I've barely been able to play the game because it just freezes and crashes all the time :( It makes me incredibly sad! I manage perhaps 3 -4 minutes at a time, up to 10 once which was amazing! Although it says that my laptop is within specs to be able to play it, I think it's possibly my hardware as I haven't heard of anyone else having this issue. On that note, any good gaming laptops you guys would recommend??
