Open Windows Control panel -> Clock and Region -> Region, and in the 'Formats' tab change the country to 'Korean (Korea)'.
I had the same issue, after that the game should work fine.
Yes, it's kind of underwhelming, compared to 0.2.0xx ver. It feels more like a beta in comparison. Some of the eye-popping visual effects is gone.
There were some unplanned changes to the game, which unfortunately led to the new version being very buggy and some modes (Unity Quest, License Test) being unplayable. The devs have been actively working on fixing bugs since 0.3.001 dropped.
Unity session in Travel mode has been fixed today. It might take some time for the devs to fix the entire game.
The devs have taken a risk, let's see if it's gonna be worth it! :D
That said, I can't let this stuff slide since:
a) this is a product that costs money
b) the issue is present for non-korean users which means the developers don't give a damn about the global market and don't even test the game on the english locale, what a joke
c) I recommended this game to a friend, and he (unlike me) is absolutely not gonna bother with locale stuff which means I recommended to buy a broken game
What a f*cking let down
Used to, before the 0.3.001 version. Unity Quest (UQ), where you could play with other people (anyone could play any song they wanted to), it gave some extra ARKK points. There was also some kind of challenge type of UQ (Brain Power was the only song in that, where everyone had to collectivelly reach a given score limit. If the group was successful, they got awarded with 500 ARKK, otherwise none if the team failed.)
There have been plans for Unity Quest to have some kind of seasons or something along the lines of it. But yeah, most things are broken, hopefully UQ will come back soon.
I don't really understand Unity Session, it's just Single-player, but you can choose to see other players playing, too.
