Progression Reset?

all my progression got reset? did it happen to anyone else?

You didn’t change save slots, did you? On the main menu you can switch between 3.

My save slot got reset it’s not that I checked

Have you played on more than one machine? I'm wondering if somehow steam cloud paved over your save somehow. If you do a fresh run on a different save slot, does that seem to retain progress?

Are you logged in as a different windows user?

If you ever want to find or back up your saves they're stored in this hidden directory -><yourusername>/AppData/Local/Exodus/Saved/SaveGames/Slots

No i haven't played on a new machine, I just tried a new save slot still no progress restored, same user and still nothing

Just to clarify, did it ever save? Or is nothing saving at all, even now? Like if you start a fresh game right now, do a run, pick up some money, then quit… it’s gone when you come back? Or was it a one-time data loss but seems to be working going forward?

If it’s never saved, I’m wondering if something is interfering with the app writing to disk (like an overly aggressive antivirus).

it saved before I have 15 hours played and closed and reopened the games a bunch of times and when I went to get on today to play it was just reset after not playing for like a dayish (you can check my steam profile I have most of the achievements and also there some screenshots up showing I have my fire knife and others maxed out)
