That's odd. I don't see this. Did you change the resolution in the game properties menu on the Deck? I've left it at the default settings. Here's a video I found if you want to see what I'm talking about.

Sometimes random cpu cores spike to 100% utilization making the game use more battery than necessary.
Managed to set around 6 to 7 watt usage, but this spikes make it jump to 10w. Not necessarily bad, but its probably Denuvo acting up in the background causing this.
CrisperPoet, are you playing on the dock? I just tried playing while docked and I'm seeing the same thing you described. I changed the video resolution from default to native and it fixed the problem. The video in my previous post will show you how to change the resolution if you're not familiar with the process. I hope that helps.
Its completely random, been watching the metrics for a while on MMBN1. I can just be standing still and the CPU usage will just spike for a couple seconds and then go back to normal.
Im running Proton GE, CPU is set to 10w and GPU to 800, half-rate shading on. Normally get 10w on the main menu, but once in game it lowers to 6w, then the spikes happen and wattage almost doubles.
Really strange. Like i said dont know if its something to do with Denuvo or if there is some sort of Shader cashing on the background. Either way is fine for the most part and has no impact on performance, only on the battery.
