Dark Chips...
Wondering what everyone take on using Dark Chip in MMBN 4-5. Can you bring yourself to uses them, or are you like me and can't stand the thought of losing that 1 HP permanently? Mind you I'm not talking about Chaos Unison.

I'd use them if they did 10 hp instead of 1 lol. It bothers me too much. But that's why chaos unison exists in the first place, because a lot of players just didn't want to use that temptation because of the 1 HP bit

They go in my pvp deck with a save backed up elsewhere on my computer just in case I accidentally go below 990 hp:SaffronHappy:
I never use them. Chaos Unison is good enough for me and if you time it correctly, you can use it multiple times

There are some real pros to using them too. Some chips require a dark megaman, don't have to worry about an undershirt program, single HP+500 means you will always have the same amount of HP as if you were using Hub.bat, and it's more like you have a gig+3 scenario. Bug Megaman hard to raise the power of DS Navi chips and things like Static.

It requires you to forego a lot of things in the game, but if you just think differently about it, it's really not that bad.

You can totally use them if you feel like it for a different way to play. Navi customizer can make the penalties not that terrible.

Mind that you got both versions with the pack, so you can go Dark in one of them if you desire.

If you want to use Dark for PVP, you only need to grind all the chips and programs you want for your build, use dark chips in battle 3 times, and then just play on PVP only and you'll only have lost 3 hp.

Alternatively, you can only lose 499 HP max, as it stops tracking it afterward if you don't care about min-maxing. Either way, regardless of what people say Dark Mega is QUITE viable.
