Not roms. Direct ports and remasters of the original Japanese source code. Superior to roms in every way.

You can download the roms if you want, but if you want new Megaman, you got to buy Megaman.

Sure. When Denuvo is removed.

Given Capcom's track record, it likely will be after a few months.

It's always hilarious when I see people say they should buy a console version instead of a PC one to avoid Denuvo.

That's kinda like eating a cockroach to avoid eating a beetle.

Why would you wanna eats a cockroach or a beetle to begin with?

Well, let me put it to you this way. If you are a fan of Mega Man, you should buy this game new and when it first comes out. Let Capcom know Mega Man sells. If you do it on PC, fine, if you do it on console because you think Deneuvo still affects performance (It doesn't), also good. Vote with your wallet, or don't. However you justify or don't justify your purchasing decision, I really don't care. Just don't be a fan with 0 copies of the Battle Network Legacy Collection and wondering why Capcom don't want to make a new Mega Man game.

Counterpoint:

You give money to a scam artist like Reinhard Blaukovitsch, and that contributes towards the death of games preservation.

Also, Denuvo does affect performance. There's multiple points of proof for that.

This isn't a protest against Mega Man; it's a protest against Reinhard Blaukovitsch being an absolute stain of a "human being"

I just don't know what to tell you. I played all the recent Resident Evils, Sonic Mania, Hogwarts Legacy, Doom Eternal and probably several other games that aren't coming to mind right away with Denuvo over two computers now, and while I won't say that any video you've seen where with versus without Denuvo are fake, it just hasn't proven true in my specific case.

So more anecdotal garbage. Meanwhile, the Irdeto corporation has published misleading and falsifying information in regards to games preservation and piracy in an attempt to paint themselves as some holy saviors who can protect from a non-issue with their Denuvo product, which only affects consumers.

Videos are one thing, but accurate benchmark tests are another. I have done such in my own research, but if that isn't enough, then Katsuhiro Harada denounced Reinhard's scam as well.

You're hellbent on ensuring the biggest enemy to PC gaming wins though, so have at it and enjoy paying $60 for a ROM collection then.

Not a rom collection.

Don't know why you're taking an "If you aren't with me, you're against me" attitude about it, but go ahead and die on that hill if you must. I'm clearly more pro Mega Man than anti Denuvo, and if you aren't going to buy the game on console instead, then I'm going to conclude that you are just a guy that has Reinhard living rent free in your head, and actually spend time going to various forums for games containing Denuvo to inform or misinform accordingly, regardless of actual desire to purchase.

Either way, the prompt to "Block Garbage" is too perfect for me to resist any longer, so I'll enjoy my collection of beloved GBA games from my childhood, now able to net battle and trade online, and you have fun with... Whatever you are trying to accomplish.
