I'll be more surprised if it didn't sell well considering how active the competitive MMBN scene is till this day. Not to mention there is really only a limited number of games that have such mechanics.

I saw the news yesterday. I'm hoping that this could inspire Capcom to allocate more into the Mega Man budget similar to the recent news with SEGA regarding the success of Sonic Frontiers.

megaman x games were released several times. on different formats, physically and digitally. Battle network is only physical, and digitally on a storefront that clearly doesn't care about preservation.

That changed with the collection lol, it deserves the praise it's been getting.

Not just Japan, I've been hearing the shelves for physical copies are pretty much empty on release. Like Battle Network/EXE is really more popular than I thought.
