what does it mean by online play?
co-op? or now we can do pvp?

pvp. back in the GBA days u had to have a physical cable to link together in order to pvp. number 1 reason why im glad we got this collection so i can mess around with pvp finally.

Is it friend only, or there is a hub or que for online battle?

It should be a choice of public or private

It shouldn’t matter but it’s recommended to build up a good deck first
