Steam deck problems

So ive been playing this for a few weeks on steam deck, but suddenly during the fight against lifevirus at the end of 1, i got a major glitch where the game frzone but the dialogue and cutscene sounds kept playing. After resetting the deck, now i keep getting a bunch of weird visual like this. Anyone have a fix for this?

No guarantees, but if this is the only game showing issues, you can try to do an integrity check. Game properties -> Local Files -> Verify integrity of game files.

i tried that first, even tried restoring the deck to factory settings. no dice

although i did find out that this particular glitch on the menu screen goes away if i turn the filter off, but it still bugs, crashes, and has other flickering visual glitches.

I never had issues. Are you running on proton GE 7.55?

i was on experimental branch. but its looking more and more like the hardware is failing. I've been in contact with steam support and after a complete re-imaging failed to resolve the problem, its RMA time.

Other games are having issues too?

the graphical glitch pictured was unique to MMBN, but other games were having their own flavor of breakdowns. Elden ring was crashing a lot and slowing down upon deaths n such.
