BN4 will be pain though since you'll need 6 playthroughs if you refuse to have others help
In BN2, there are chips that you can only get by fighting another player, these are required to unlock the hard mode.
In BN3 there is one navi that differs between the two versions, and you need to get all the navi chips including that of the other version's navi to unlock the final superbosses.
Despite BN4-6 having much greater differences, the exclusive chips to each version are classified as "secret chips" and are not required to unlock anything within the game.
