Stand on the front row, take 2 steps back, and hit it hard; a v3 WoodStyle's buster is very effective.

Then step forwards 2 spaces again, so that the next one will drop into the hole after you leave the cracked panel.

They spend a lot more time in the air than they do on the ground, so your chances of hitting them with regular chips is very low. The best option, if you have it, is to use navi chips right after they land, since they are at least synchronized in that. Otherwise, you will have to bait out their attacks and then hit them while they are on your side. In that case it's best to have cannons, swords, or other high-power chips to take them out quickly and not let them ruin your whole field

From 2 onwards, the "Slasher" chip is outright designed to kill things that enter your side of the field (particularly Shadows, but it works on Flappies too).

I hate these things too. Can almost never S rank them in BN1. Looking for tips too, using a G code only deck and the chips i use are a bit too slow or low damage.

Wait, what happens when they drop into the hole? I just assume that they appear back into their own battlefield. You''re making it sound like something special really happens

Yes that's exactly what happens. Just a tactic to temporarily restrict the field disruption they cause.

Tested few times, wont work... i dun understand why...
I done like this:
1. Once GQuake slam the floor... so i left floor, & the floor is cracked...
2. i step back to cracked floor & wait the GQuake slam to the cracked floor...
3. Once the GQuake slam the cracked floor, the GQuake still on the top of cracked floor, but after GQuake back to this position... my cracked floor is gone & i cant bait the GQuake slam the same floot again.

Does i done something wrong?

Is the G code only some kind of challenge, or just a preference? If you can, I would suggest siding some chips out, at least while you're in their area. Definitely max out on knightsword/herosword if you have it, those can drop in G but I don't know if there is a way to get them in G other than the special chip trader. The only navi chip you could rely on would be gutsman, which is fine, but it will definitely still take a bit and you would just have to open with two of them to S-rank

Single-code folders are guaranteed to be able to use 5 chips per turn. This is extremely powerful, although moreso in later games. The GutsMan-based Program Advance also originated in this game (that's why the Undernet BBS in 2 doesn't hint at it despite doing so for the other Navi-based ones).

They blip back to where they jumped from, without causing an AoE blast around them. Makes it easier to line up certain attacks. Especially if there are 3 of them at once, it's useful for keeping your side of the field manageable and not entirely broken.
