Combat speed is super slow

Does anyone know how to speed up the combat whenever I start a new encounter? It’s always super slow like way slower than it was in the game boy or any of the commercials that show it.

I have never had any slow down on both my desktop and Steam Deck. Maybe check the settings in your GPU

Yes it even happens outside of battle while running.The slow down is terrible.

It definitely feels really slow. There's no option (that I've found) to speed up the text or the movement

So I just found a solution for myself. I had my game set to 30fps and as soon as I changed it to 60fps the game runs a lot faster

How did you change your fps to 60?

I have not experienced this on my PC, game appears to run as fast as it ever did, would recommend checking Game Settings in the main start menu. try running in windowed or borderless windows (have had issues in past with fullscreen).
