no, and no. they even put up a disclaimer stating they respect all values, but kept the integrity of the original so ...I can't remember the wording exactly. Anyway, the only typo they fixed is Z-Saber is Z-Saber instead of Z-Saver. Legs go and the rest are all there, stereotypes and all

For context I didn't buy the game.

Duff McWhalen was the only cool name to come from that. But yeah, that really was cringey, especially if you read into why it even happened.

It's also worth mentioning that the human characters of this series have real Japanese surnames. The English versions tried too hard to pretend it doesn't take place in Japan.

something people may not remember is
the old megaman and i think megaman x series normally had contests
you can find them in old gaming magazines, fan contests for the robot villain bosses
winners picked would become an actual boss or bosses, they did a few of them i think
so odd names may have come from winners too most likely

In BN4, apparently they changed Nation Z to Nation X. Couldn't tell you why.
