Btw, in case anyone is interested that "point of no return" is right before you defeat the alpha-bug in the first tank in ACDC town.
I feel ya! I was in the same boat, knowing it was coming made it worse this time around and then I was still surprised because I randomly had it in my head that it was the background that greyed out, so I was surprised when I reached the point and it ended up being the even more pointed dulling of the actual paths, instead! It's rough, because it REALLY drains the life and unique personalities out of areas that were previously really nice looking. Again, totally get it for that point in the story, but not resetting after reaching post-game feels like just as much a a bug as the endless disaster music in the post-game MMBN6!
This is really the only fix needed for MMBN3 from the original release and seeing MMBN6's extremely similar issue dealt with now that Capcom is on a platform that allows for updates, it gives me hope that the same can be done for MMBN3!
