Hoping the controller support is a typo. I've been holding off actually playing because I mainly play on my Deck now and days.

Devs, keep one thing in mind about simulation games like Life sims, management or farming sims:

- The game live up about how many times a person might still want to play it
repeatedly, even after end game features are unlocked.

Take stardew as an example.

Even after all the missions, people still play it to make crazy automations in the farm, decorations, try different layouts, animals, also some features can only be achieved by different kinds of missions, different currency, including luck related things.

By now, I already have a lot of money, 99% of the recipes, level 50, the things get kinda boring, its not a hard mode in the restaurant that's gonna make want to play more, the whole thing has to be reimagined, the progression, the way we obtain each recipe, equipment, skill, ingredient. The way it is today we have a 99% of the things related to money grind in the restaurant at the point where in 2-3 days you will get at the end of the game. When everything becomes "buyable" with a single currency, the game becomes boring. Some risk/fail factors need to be included also.

I highly recommend that you visit some life sim, farming sim and management games to capture some ideas about progression, otherwise the hype will fall short real quick.

I love everything about chef mode except forced openings, it’d be nice to have the additional challenge in the restaurant while still being able to enjoy day to day choice making. or rather, maybe have each chef mode addition be separate toggles on their own when creating a new save like for example:
[ ] Low customer patience
[ ] Require Opening [time]
[ ] Can Perform Waiter tasks
other than that im BEYOND ecstatic for what the roadmap contains and this game so far has been a blast. its also so refreshing to see an early access game with an actual dedicated launch within a year. Best wishes and thank you for your work !!

Tbh the game still requires some more balancing, especially around recipes, quest rewards, power cells & tickets. A lot more quests will be added as well. Totally know what you mean with late game and replayability, and the major updates should address these issues as they are added. Appreciate the feedback! This info is very helpful.

This is probably my favorite game I have ever played, no exaggeration.

It would be really cool if we could make dishes to put in the vending machines, like takeout containers for quests.

Would also like to have even more recipes in the game

Would really like an auto-sort button for the fridge (and a button that would let me add ingredients from my inventory to the fridge's existing stacks, would also like to be able to add dishes to the menu before going to the fridge and then have it tell me what i need to restock to be able to serve those dishes.

The decor score is always terrible and doesn't seem to make a lot of sense but I haven't played in a few days so I don't know if this has been fixed yet.

Also idk if you're thinking of changing it with balancing- but staff costs are pretty insane. Especially with how badly they work unless you also spend resources on coffee/tea. It would be better if the chef didn't decide to nap before setting the food on the counter and hold it hostage, and the waiters didn't decide to nap the second they pick something up off the counter, again holding it hostage so no functional staff can do anything to pick up the slack.

I love this game so far and can't wait for all of the updates. I would also like to suggest a possibility of hiring a person to go out and help collect ingredients for you. Sometimes I find I don't have enough time or money to be collecting everything and/or spending all my money buying what I need.

will camille and koa be romance options in the future? :steamhappy: thanks for the roadmap and can't wait for more updates!

im guessing there's a lot more to getting controller support done well than most of us probably realize right. was looking forward to getting into it but the lack of support def makes things even in the start p difficult

i think the player can do all waiter task can also be included in the normal Story mode, Also i suggest an Additional Feature for Restaurant "Staff Meal" since it also exist in real life, Basicly a Tea/Coffee system but with dish instead and it happen when ever the player chose to make "staff meal" before opening the restaurant. the aim is to give someshort of buff for staff during the service period of the restaurant
